It’s also doubtful you’ll get more than the Jiggery-Pokerer for playing. It will be very time-consuming unless you are extremely lucky, and your thumbs will probably hurt unless less you have a controller that has “turbo” options. If you have a good stock of Tokens (you can trigger an Auto-Save), and keep playing until you run out of Tokens in hope that you will hit the Jackpot.
Perhaps your luck will be better if the Fortune Teller says so. If you get up to 3000 or 6000 coins in Double Down, you might be better off taking your winnings and keep playing. From there, you can either continue to play Poker , you can start betting the max of 100 more easily,, or you can try your hand at Slime Quest. If you end up getting super lucky and draw a great hand, you can double down for lots of Tokens, but sometimes it’s wiser to simply keep your winnings on a high hand. I recommend playing the 10 Token table as long as you have an Auto-Save lined up, and betting 10 Tokens until you win enough to bet more.
Games
I’ve got 2 playthroughs and I won the jackpot first time of valor bet casino trying, on both saves… Fortune teller said slots were my luck now, so I said why not. Went from 300 coins resetting to earning 16k from double or nothing in Poker to 30k to 60k to 90k and then 120k.If you have a decent number of coins — I feel like the slot machine isn’t bad at all.
Guides
- The duo manage to escape after a clash of blows between Jade and Hendrick and you’ll find yourself back at the castle ruins once more.
- Once you trade — go ahead and leave the Casino and re-enter to trigger an Auto-Save.
- Fortune teller said slots were my luck now, so I said why not.
- Achieving 100,000 Tokens or more will likely require patience unless you’re exceptionally fortunate with doubling down on higher-value hands.
- Head northwest from here to find a small shack with a Goddess Statue outside, search the north side of the exterior to find a chest containing a Mini Medal.
To access the terrace, enter through this door, then turn the corner where barrels are placed—crush them for 75G and a Chimaera Wing. After descending the stairs into the Inn, climb to the bedroom and check the wardrobe; you’ll find Wayfarer’s Clothes inside. Upon entering the town, scan the western wall for two pots—one holds Fresh Water. Returning to camp, speak with the Bodkin Bowyer about your success in the region; he’ll reward you with four Seed of Sorceries. Abandoning the well, traverse the southern passage; once the field opens, check your left for a rock-strewn Ore gathering point yielding two Silver Ores and a Copper Ore. Near the Camp — a Crossbow Target is hidden in a tree to the north (left side), while the fourth target lies in the southwest field.
Monster Arena
In Dragon Quest IV DS and Dragon Quest V, the Monster Arena is the best way to win coins as it gives the player a high return if the player wins the bet. The Monster Arena has the player bet on one monster out of a pool of 3-5 that will then battle each other. In Dragon Quest XI, the player can bet up to 100 tokens before the second act and up to 1000 after the second act. However in the Zenithia trilogy remakes, the player can only bet up to 10 tokens and it is the least likely to give the player a high return. The NES version of Dragon Quest IV (Dragon Quest VI), and Dragon Quest XI instead have the player pick between four cards.
Support our guide writers and staff so we can continue to make the best guides for all of your favourite games. I have found in my experience at this point in the game that once you have a decent stock of Tokens, playing Poker at 100 Token bets and doubling down is the quickest way to earn – just don’t push your luck too much. You do not need to double down consecutively on the same hand if you’re not feeling it (so long as you do not leave the table), you can play more hands and go to Double-or-Nothing again to continue unlocking it. Slime Quest is a good diversion if you have somewhere to be, pop it on auto spin and leave it running (left), Poker however is where you will make the big wins with it’s double or nothing.
Checklists
What I can offer here is a clear roadmap (a breakdown of available games), and practical suggestions. Alternatively, sheer luck might make you feel like you’ve triumphed over everything. Throughout the game (similar items enhance your Steal Rate), which I’ll highlight when they appear. Robin’s *Fizzle* spell on your team could—if misfortune strikes—block your healing abilities. With two +3 Robber Gloves (your chances of securing the target improve significantly), as previously discussed.
At the slots, I progressed from 34,000 Tokens to 1.2 million in roughly three hours, without ever landing a major jackpot. My poker attempts yielded modest results — but the slime quest strategy proved steady—earning 3,000–4,000 Tokens per 100 auto-spins, occasionally much more. On your second visit to the Emerald Coast (a new chest appears in the eastern region), between the two glowing spots, containing an Enchanted Stone. It’s deeply meaningful to realize that people are benefiting from the guide. Constantly fearing missed chests or key items no longer plagues me—your guide eliminates those worries and lets me fully enjoy the game.
